Oct 09 (JSC) Twinery - the research and tech division of Sri Lankan manufacturing giant MAS Holdings - is working to reduce waste in its apparel production supply chain as part of a project called Truecycled.

Operating at Bodyline, the Sri Lankan factory set up by MAS Holdings in partnership with Victoria's Secret and Triumph, the company is reducing energy and waste across the entire value chain to develop No Waste Apparel.

Moving towards this goal has seen it implement the HeiQ Clean Tech sustainable polyester dyeing system to use less water and energy and save CO2 during the polyester dyeing process.

"This is one step in our goal towards Zero Waste Apparel," says Dilshan Mohamed, director at Bodyline.
