* Sri Lanka dolphins caught in poaching crisis

Feb 25 (AJ) Sri Lanka's marine life, including dolphins, which are one of the country's largest tourist attraction, is under threat from poachers who use illegal nets. Dolphins are a valuable resource for traditional fishermen because the mammals helps them catch fish.

These traditional fishermen are now urging the government to crackdown on poaching because is taking a serious toll on their livelihoods. Al Jazeera's Minelle Fernandez reports from Kalpitya in northwest Sri Lanka.
